World Taekwondo Jamaica (WTJ) is Jamaica's sole Member National Association under World Taekwondo — the International Olympic Committee-recognised governing body for the sport worldwide.
Founded to develop and promote Kukkiwon-certified Taekwondo across Jamaica, WTJ oversees the sport from grassroots participation to elite international competition. Our athletes compete under the WT ranking system, earning qualification points toward the Olympic Games, Youth Olympic Games, and regional championships.
WTJ works in strategic partnership with the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA), the Sports Development Foundation (SDF), and the Korean Embassy Jamaica — ensuring our athletes have the support, resources, and international access to excel. Through our network of member schools, WTJ runs structured programmes for ages 5 through adult, building courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit.

Founder and Head Instructor of World Taekwondo Mandeville (WTM) at Church Teachers' College, Mandeville. He has been developing Jamaica's national taekwondo programme to international standard since 2017, under the mentorship of Grandmaster Christopher Chok. With a background in Sports Administration and ICT, he has been instrumental in securing JOA and SDF funding, fostering partnerships with the Korean Embassy, and fielding Jamaica's first Youth Olympic pathway athletes. He also serves as Jamaica's Athlete Representative to the IOC Athletes' Commission.
